Block Heads

It's been too busy to update my blog! Productive few months! With great news! We got first place at WayHome Art installation competition and got $18,000 CAD to actualize our project.

The results? Really well received!

This was an illustration I did for our initial proposal.

Rimowa IDS Toronto

We designed an installation for Rimowa to celebrate their new collection Bossa Nova and was it ever satisfying! I can say the crazy nights paid off :)

A close up shot from the installation. See how gorgeous the new line is?

Laser cutting is so satisfying: also always make tabs, otherwise they fly around and you get calls about your files

Side project in the making

A conversation around how much I've missed making is turning into a fruitful collaboration.

We are working on a piece to be displayed at the Interior Design Show in Toronto.

More cards?

It's never too late for more holiday cards, right?

Birthday Cards

I love making cards for my friends and family. Below is my latest one is for my youngest brother. When I first moved to Canada, I missed him so much that it almost hurt inside. Now he is a smart, articulate charming young man. 'OH SHIT' was my reaction when I actually realized he is turning 16! And here is the card ;)

Holiday Crafts

The theme might have been holidays, but I just couldn't help myself... I feel like I will take this idea further for more sculptural pieces.

We all deal with pain & sorrow differently. I lost a dear friend and this was my way of saying goodbye to him.

Holiday Cards

I am in the process of making some holiday cards. I came to realize that my understanding of 'holiday season' does not really fall into winter.

Even though I am really pleased with how they looked,  I tossed these ones quickly and changed my direction for more 'winter inspired' ones.
